Loire Valley to Chablis Charity Bike Ride: 21st May – 23rd May

Tim Burrough & Nigel Boutwood will be cycling on the 5th leg of a charity bike ride which started in 1998 and has so far raised over £100,000 for children’s brain tumour research. Please help the cyclists reach their target of £20,000 by sponsoring them on www.justgiving.com

Round the Island Race 2008: 28th June

This is the second year that the Cadenza Team have sailed the race for Charlie’s Challenge. Last year there were 1800 entrants and we were on the top ten fundraisers list. Although this is a fun event it is hoped that it can be used to draw attention to the great need for research projects to find a cure and prevent brain tumours. Posey's 21st Charity Fashion Show, in aid of Charlie’s Challenge: 6th September

Rather than just another 21st birthday celebration, Posey Cottrell really wants to ‘make a difference’ and she has decided to celebrate with a charity fashion show to raise as much money as possible for Charlie’s Challenge. Being held at Brambletye School near East Grinstead, 200 guests will be able to enjoy the latest collections from 10 clothing companies shown by 20 models. The evening is guaranteed to be packed with excitement and will include an auction of promises.

The Charlie’s Challenge Ball: 22nd November

This year the Ball returns to The Grand Hotel, Eastbourne and promises to be an evening of enormous fun, with delicious food, a fantastic raffle, a spectacular auction and, of course, music and dancing. Over the years, the Balls have been Charlie’s Challenge’s most successful fund raising events. They have raised hundreds of thousands of pounds which have funded crucial research projects.
